Introducing Stanky Art. Quality You Can Smell!

I started painting in 2019 after losing a job I'd worked very hard at for 14 years. I was living just outside of Philly and needed somewhere to put all that pent up energy. I'm creative by nature and painting was the perfect venue. An empty canvas, some tubes of paint, a few brushes, and my mind's eye as a guide. Just like that, Stanky Art was born.

I now live and work at the Jersey Shore, so I've paired my tendency toward bold colors and funky fonts with the inspiration of my environment. The result? Surfboards featuring local shore towns! Holler!

My favorite hang in CM used one of my designs on a limited-edition shirt! How cool is THAT?!? Very cool! And well appreciated!

Mad Batter, my favorite bar/restaurant/hotel located in the heart of Cape May, is my art's home away from home. They are big supporters and have had me back repeatedly over the last few years. They are featuring my work during the month of March, and I'll be back again in June. Pop by and take home some Stanky Art!

The opposite wall....
For six months, my work adorned the walls of The Inn of Cape May, home of Ocean 7 and The Porch, both of which are must stops for locals and visitors alike. This is also one of our fave haunts so it's kinda kooky that my art was hanging in a place I frequent. Often! Thanks to for the support, Inn Gang!

An example of a custom piece I was commissioned to do for some close friends. The song has meaning to them and the environment reflects the colors used in their business. It represents them well and also fits nicely with the rest of my work. They loved it and that's all that matters!
I used to work in Film and Music in Los Angeles. During that time, I enjoyed promo service from a number of record labels and this piece features a photo from a press kit I received for the latest Warren Zevon release. I created the environment in honor of his "Excitable Boy" LP.
Painted for my friends at Olive and Meadow. Specializing in Charcuterie Boards, Grazing Tables, Event Items, Workshops & More. Visit them at oliveandmeadow.com. It's art you can eat!
When they were first dating, my friends Dawn and John saw Bowling For Soup at the Celebrate Fairfax Festival in June of 2006 in Fairfax, Virginia. It was amongst their very first dates and they have seen BFS many times subsequently. Painted as a housewarming gift to honor their commitment to each other and as a way to thank them for their friendship and support.
