I never intended to paint let alone offer art for sale but with the encouragement of an amazing group of friends here I am. Introducing Stanky Art. It's Stanky cuz it's got a bit of attitude and its Art because my friends say so. Take a look and see what you think...

I started painting five-ish years ago and haven't stopped since. I'm attracted to bright, rich, colors and I'm inspired by both my proximity to the ocean and my creative, musically bent past.

Given I live and work at the Jersey Shore, I've paired my tendency toward bold colors and funky fonts with my spiritual nature and my desire to share my art. The result? Surfboards that remind you to live in the moment and also feature local shore towns. Holler!

Mad Batter, my absolutely favorite bar/restaurant/hotel located in the heart of Cape May, is my art's home away from home. They are big supporters and have had me back repeatedly over the last few years. They are featuring my work during the month of March, and I'll be back again in June. Pop by and take home some Stanky Art!
Stanky Art. Quality You Can Smell!

The opposite wall....
The journey continued thanks to the kind folks at The Inn of Cape May. My work adorned the walls of this classic Inn, home of Ocean 7 and The Porch, both of which are must stops for locals and visitors alike. This is also one of our fave haunts so it's kinda kooky that my art was hanging in a place I frequent. Often! Thanks to for the support, Inn Gang!

I intended for this to be shown at Mad Batter but before it had the chance, some close friends grabbed it up. Now I'll get to see it every time I'm at their house! Which is often!
I used to work in Film and Music in Los Angeles. During that time, I enjoyed promo service from a number of record labels and this piece features a photo from a press kit I received for the latest Warren Zevon release. I created the environment in honor of his "Excitable Boy" LP.

Painted for my friends at The 215. A fun splash of musical color to brighten their lives and thank them for their constant hospitality. Love!
When they were first dating, my friends Dawn and John saw Bowling For Soup at the Celebrate Fairfax Festival in June of 2006 in Fairfax, Virginia. It was amongst their very first dates and they have seen BFS many times subsequently. Painted as a housewarming gift to honor their commitment to each other and as a way to thank them for their friendship and support.
